Medical assistance to residents of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug is provided in 5 medical organizations:
1) Hospital facilities - 1 (district hospital), including 5 structural units (district hospitals);
2) Dispensaries - 1 (anti-tuberculosis);
3) Outpatient facilities - 2, including:
- polyclinics - 2 (central district and dental);
4) Other - 1 (forensic medical examination bureau).
Currently, the region’s health care system is represented by 1 state-owned health care institution and 4 state budgetary health care institutions, which include 5 district hospitals, 6 outpatient clinics, 3 feldsher-midwife stations and 25 feldsher health centers.
Outpatient care is provided in all settlements of the district.
In 2018, the following medical organizations located outside the Nenets Autonomous District declared their participation in the implementation of the state guarantees program for the free provision of medical care to citizens on the territory of the Nenets Autonomous Region:
- State budgetary health institution of the Arkhangelsk region "Arkhangelsk Clinical Oncology Center";
- Limited liability company "Remote medicine";
- Limited Liability Company "Sanatorium Lezzet";
- Limited liability company "ECO-Assistance".
- Federal State Budgetary Institution "North Caucasian Federal Scientific and Clinical Center" of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia
The provision of medical assistance to the residents of the district is organized according to a three-level system, taking into account the routing of patients, the stages of medical care and in accordance with the approved procedures and standards of medical care.
Primary pre-medical and medical health care is provided on a territorial basis according to the legislation of the Russian Federation.
In recent years, the volumes of providing outreach forms of medical care to the rural population have been increasing. Field work allows you to bring closer the provision of qualified assistance to the population.
In order to timely identify risk factors for diseases and organize their correction, as well as early diagnosis of diseases that most determine disability and mortality, in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug there are 2 prevention rooms and 1 health center for children.
On the territory of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug there are no institutions providing specialized, including high-tech medical care. In accordance with article 25.1 "Providing specialized medical care and medical rehabilitation in institutions located outside the okrug" of the Law of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug of December 11, 2002 No. 382-OZ "On Health Care in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug", a resolution of the administration of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug of 27.05 .2008 No. 76-p “On approval of the provision on the procedure for providing social assistance for diseases requiring special diagnostic methods, treatment, use of complex medical technologies and copper Qing Rehabilitation ”high-tech medical care and rehabilitation for needy patients of the district are provided outside the region in medical organizations of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Arkhangelsk and other cities.
Air ambulance in the region is used to provide emergency and advisory medical care to rural residents, to evacuate patients from the settlements of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, from the places of nomadic indigenous people, camps and shift camps to the city of Naryan-Mar in accordance with the agreement concluded with the air carrier, as well as transportation of patients in need of medical care of the third level according to emergency indications outside the district.
