A meeting was held on leveling the business environment for entrepreneurs operating in the Far North. The issues of subsidizing part of insurance contributions to district entrepreneurs and paying for travel to the place of vacation use and back for employees were discussed.

During the meeting, the Deputy Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Tatyana Logvinenko and the Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Assembly of Deputies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug on Economic Policy and Budget Natalya Kardakova together with the Head of the Tax Inspectorate Dmitry Martynov and the Head of the District Audit Chamber Elena Sopochkina discussed the possibility of providing insurance premium compensation for small enterprises. According to the district deputy, due to high fees, entrepreneurs often refuse to register their business and officially hire workers. Currently, the general rate of contributions is 30 percent of assessed payments. During the working meeting, the possibility of halving payments was discussed.
Natalya Kardakova also noted that the load on small enterprises in the field of northern guarantees is extremely high and it is necessary to find an opportunity to compensate the costs of the district entrepreneurs for paying the road to the employee and his disabled family members every two years.
“The imposition of a direct responsibility on all private organizations to reimburse workers for travel to the vacation destination has seriously increased the financial burden, especially for employers from among small and medium-sized enterprises. As a result, their competitiveness has significantly decreased compared to colleagues from other regions. In the Far North, it is already very difficult to do business. In addition to high costs and additional coefficients, the costs of compensation for paying the fare and baggage to the place of use of the vacation and back are added to the salary of employees. The situation is complicated by high energy tariffs, ”the deputy noted.

As a result of the work of the commission, the participants proposed to consider the possibility of providing compensation for the costs of individual entrepreneurs to pay for travel to the place of rest and back in the amount of 10,000 rubles per year per employee. It is planned that this measure will reduce the burden on small and medium-sized businesses, which will positively affect the investment and business climate in the district.

“Doing business in the district is associated with high costs, and my colleagues and I will continue to work on developing realistic measures to support our small enterprises,” Natalya Kardakova summarized.
