As part of the implementation of the Standard for the Activities of the Executive Authorities of the Subject of the Russian Federation to Ensure a Favorable Investment Climate, the region’s leadership is pursuing a state policy aimed at stimulating investment activities, including the work on the formation of a register of investment projects implemented in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (hereinafter referred to as the Register) , in accordance with the decree of the Administration of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug dated 06.26.2014 No. 224-p. The register of investment projects contains an ordered collection of information about investment projects being implemented and planned for implementation on the territory of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The register is formed on the basis of proposals submitted by executive bodies of state power of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, institutions of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities, with the aim of organizing a system for recording all investments coming into the region’s economy, on the basis of a single database, as well as creating an information base to help increase investment activity in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The data in the Register is used by the executive bodies of state power of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug for the following purposes:

1) the preparation of information and analytical materials on investment activity in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug;

2) the formation and implementation of investment policies in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug;

3) the organization of work to attract investors to the implementation of investment projects, etc.

The Register includes significant investment projects being implemented and planned for implementation on the territory of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, at the expense of extra-budgetary sources, as well as at the expense of the district and federal budgets.
